Ink Splatter

I have gotten so used To pencil smudged hands That I had forgotten How satisfying the scent Of ink on page is -Kel Dayheart

Criticize is just a word It holds no more power Than any other string of letters Words are meaningless   Yet somehow, someway We let it sink in And it offends us more Than any physical blow could   Words only have power If we give them it -Kel Dayheart

Poor Lighting

Candle light Burning bright Is such a sight In the dark dim night As my poor eyesight Adjust enough to write -Kel Dayheart

Finding my Voice
